We only reccomend that oak is used around a Multifuel fireplace, one good place we have found for supply is oakstore direct. You cannot order an oak beam or surround until your fire has been fitted, purely because you would be guessing at the sizes. So we suggest you only order after and we can give advice on the size required. The beams are sent to you in the post and are an easy DIY fit. If you would like us to fit the beam or fire surround we can do so.
